Let nothing disturb you
Let nothing disturb you
Let nothing scare you
All things come to pass
God does notPatience obtains all
Those who cling to God
Never want!Only God
And that’s it
A poem
Written by Teresa of Avila
A Spanish carmelite
Who reformed her order
Her reform spread
As a fire
Of love
And devotion
Bringing back
The souls
Of many
To the love of God
And church

Hello there! Thank you very much for dropping this article on let nothing disturb you. I’ve gone through it and it’s a really inspiring one and it increases our hopes too, thank you. I’m a Christain and I believe firmly in those words. It’s true that those who cling to God never wants and all shall come to pass if we trust God. This is a very good poem by Terese of Avila. Is she the popular St Theresa?
Morning Sophie,
there are two very famous Theresa carmelites.
The first is Theresa of Avilla, celebrated today, founder of the new carmel order
and Therese de Lisieux, more contemporary to us.
Her message was very simple and easy to live: offer all to God and do all with love.
And I believe she is the Theresa better known today…
She wrote her biography which is still a bestseller today.
Theresa of Avilla was a mystic and writer. Her inner castle is a beauty.
All should read it. Describing the path of the soul…
Both books can be downloaded on the internet.
you will find the refs in the links, provided.
A must read for all christians and an inspiration for all!
Have a blessed day
thank you for your uplifting note
Maria
