Praying the Rosary
The rosary is one of the oldest christian prayers where we gather around the mother of Jesus to meditate and contemplate the life of her son Jesus.
Every rosary is composed of a cross with beads and decades.
One decade refers to one bead used to pray Our Father (Pater) and ten beads used to pray hail Mary (ave) .
Sometimes a tenner is used.
A tenner is made with only ten Aves or Hail Mary beads and a Pater or Our Father bead, easy to conceal in the pocket or hand.
So when we pray 10 hail Marys, we always start with our father.
The Rosary begins with the cross and credo (act of faith). Followed by a Pater and three Aves in honor of the Holy trinity. And the mysteries of the day for each decade of the rosary.
Let us pray
The Sign of the cross
In the name of the Father
and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit Amen
The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God,
the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
He descended into hell;
on the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from there He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Catholic Church,
the communion of Saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
Amen.
Our Father
Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day
our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil
Amen
We salute Mary, bride of the Holy Spirit with a Hail Mary
Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
We salute Mary, mother of Jesus with a Hail Mary
Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
We salute Mary, Daughter of the Heavenly Father with a Hail Mary
Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
We end with Gloria
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be without end.
Amen.

Meditating on the life of Christ with the prayers of the Holy Rosary through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary—is a sure way of growing in faith and in your understanding of the faith, deepening your relationship with Christ, increasing in holiness and virtue, and avoiding sin.
Source
We meditate on the events and mysteries of the life of Jesus with the Bible, the Word of God. Food for thought and faith. In doing so we deepen our understanding of Jesus words and actions. It is not acquired in one day. We get a better understanding of what His life means to us. And we come to understand the things of God. How infinite they are, how great and beyond understanding.
Jesus was born more than 2000 years ago, but now here He is, present in our lives. We can see beautiful signs in nature. How God created everything and how you can marvel at creation, inwardly, in your heart. It goes infinitely deeper. Go into nature and walk in His Creation with all creatures. Become one withe the most Holy.
God gives infinite joy, even when you are having a hard time. Praying the Rosary can help you experience how God holds you, how Mary is always by your side. The mother of Jesus given to us as our mother, our spiritual heaven, always there for us to hold our hands .
Let us pray, and let us pray the rosary with others.
