the Holy family lived)
Was flown from Palestine
By the Angels
First to the hills of Tersatto in Croatia
Later to the woods of Recanati
El colle dei Lauri
Its final destination
sacellum gloriosæ Virginis in Laureto
Better known as our Lady of Loreto
And very sadly a story of persecution too
It is good to remember the origins of our faith
We tend to forget them
Oral traditions written down and nurtured by generations indeed. A work of conservation also.
