A Prayer for the New Year
Loving God,
As we stand at the threshold of a new year,
we come before You with hearts full of gratitude
for the blessings of the past and hope for what lies ahead.
Guide us with Your wisdom as we walk into the unknown,
Strengthen us with Your love to face every challenge,
And fill our lives with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Teach us to see Your presence in every moment.
In joy, to give thanks;
In sorrow, to trust Your plan;
And in all things, to remain faithful to You.
Help us to love others as You have loved us,
To be bearers of Your light in the world,
And to live each day as a gift,
Offering our hearts and hands in service to Your will.
We dedicate this year to You, Lord—
May it be a time of growth, renewal, and deepening in our relationship with You.
